Historical society officers The Milpitas Historical Society installed its 2023 officers and board of directors Thursday, Feb. 15, at Gorgio's Italian Restaurant. The swearing-in ceremony was officiated by Milpitas Mayor Carmen Montano, who presented the society with a commendation for its work in preserving the city's history. The historical society's 2023 officers are president Bill Hare, vice president Catherine Pelizzari, secretary Carolyn Tiernan and treasurer Joe Ehardt. On the board, Harriett McGuire is the publicity chair, Joanne Souza is heading up history, Danny Cosper is in charge of special events and Jathin Ullal is handling membership.
